Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center

 

Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center is a 200 bed acute care facility. It is small enough to give excellent personalized care and large enough to have state of the art equipment and medical facilities. There is plenty of free, drive up parking (no big city parking garages).

The Florida Center for Laparoscopic Obesity Surgery is located in the Cypress Physician Building, 40124 Highway 27, Suite 203, Davenport, Florida. Our offices are on the campus of Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.  

We are located about 15 minutes from the Disney area, about four miles from the I-4 and Route 27 interchange.

Centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, Haines City, Florida has become a major destination for families all over the world. Because of Haines City's location just a few minutes from the Disney area and major Orlando attractions, it is the ideal location to do the Orlando attractions and yet be away from the crowd.  Many of our patients bring their families with them and while they recover, their family members enjoy the Orlando activities.

LODGING

Lodging is plentiful and convenient to our center. For economy, we
recommend the Comfort Inn, Maingate in Davenport. It's close to the
hospital and has a pool, is close to several restaurants and a shopping
center with such stores as Target.

There are many other hotel options in the area that we would also
recommened as suitable for our patients. The are Holiday Inn Express and
Hampton Inn. There are other hotels in the area, however we recommend
only these hotels.
